Your generosity makes our work possible. Every donation—no matter the size—directly supports the care, protection, and placement of animals in need. From food and medical care to shelter and rescue efforts, your contribution helps give these animals a second chance at a safe and loving life.

The Beebe Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We receive no funding from city or county sources and currently operate without the assistance of grants. Everything we do is funded out of pocket, through adoption fees, and the kindness of public donations.

After browsing available animals submit an online application — no obligation, but it shows you're serious.

Application Review

A volunteer will review your application and check your vet reference. Allow a few days — we're all volunteers.

Phone Interview

If approved, we'll schedule a phone interview so you can ask questions and we can confirm the right match.

Matching

We don't place animals first-come-first-served. We match the best home to the animal.

What Happens After You Apply?

We are a volunteer‑run rescue. Here’s what to expect after you submit your application:
 
We review your application and check your vet reference.

A volunteer will contact you within 3–5 days if you may be a match.
 
If approved, we finalize the adoption details and fee.

We then book your dog on an upcoming transport and confirm your pick‑up location in New England.
 
Because we are all volunteers, we’re not able to respond to every inquiry immediately; thank you for your patience.
